5 Things we learned during the loss against the Eagles

5. Orton does his best impression of Tony Romo. Even though Orton played well for a backup.  Orton losses the game in Romo fashion. Throwing a interception on the last drive down by 2.

4. This defense seems to play well against the Eagles.  Demarcus Ware and Jason Hatcher who have been missing come to play this game.  The defense had been absent most of the year and even worst the past few game. The only times they have played well is agadir against Philadelphia.  The defense did not lose this one tonight.

3. Home field advantage meant nothing.  The past few seasons dallas has been in win or go home game.  The difference we hoped this year that would push us to the playoffs would be the fact that we were at home.  Not so fast.

2. Monte Kiffin will be fired.  Jason Garrett is likely to stay.  The big question is if Rod Marinelli stays. The defense with all of their downfalls played their heart out for Rod. Another season with him (hopefully healthly) could give Dallas a top 10 defense in 2014

1. It was probably for the best.  Had Dallas had won we would have played the New Orleans Saints. I think everyone remembers the last time we plays the Saints. Did we really want that to happen? Dallas is 1-4 versus the Saints since New Orleans super bowl run.
