Cowboys ‘Sweet Emotion’ At Chilly London Practice
In an effort to make Wednesday as normal as possible, the Dallas Cowboys are making this a “Romo Wednesday,” dealing with defensive-line injuries and pumping in music at practice.
To a soundtrack that ranged from the familiar “We Dem Boyz” to Aerosmith’s “Sweet Emotion,” the Cowboys bundled up against the chilly London weather and worked without starting defensive tackles Tyrone Crawford and Nick Hayden at the Allianz Park rugby pitch.
Quarterback Romo (two fractures in his back) and Crawford (right knee) are getting treatment back at the team hotel. Hayden is observing practice, as is Rolando McClain (right knee).
Another defensive participant: tackle Josh Brent, assigned jersey No. 95.
Three offensive starters are working with their mates: offensive linemen Doug Free and Ron Leary lined up as first-teamers, as did Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray, despite having a possible fracture in his pinkie finger.
