Could Jim Harbaugh be the next head coach of the Dallas Cowboys?
As you might have heard, reportedly things haven’t been running smoothly in San Francisco. During the NFL scouting combine last weekend, Pro Football Talk reported that Cleveland almost traded for 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh.

Harbaugh, who was hired by San Francisco in 2011, has already led the 49ers to a pair of division championships, a 36-11-1 regular season record, three consecutive conference title games and a Super Bowl berth.
But there has been tension between Harbaugh and management in San Fran.
Harbaugh is under contract for two more seasons. But that doesn’t mean Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones wouldn’t make a run at him if Jason Garrett, who is in the final year of his contract, doesn’t get the Cowboys over the 8-8 hump.
The Big Lead’s Jason McIntyre attended the combine in Indianapolis last weekend and wrote Tuesday, “assuming Harbaugh doesn’t win the Super Bowl, NFL people repeatedly say Dallas is the most likely landing spot because, well, Jerry Jones.”
Harbaugh coaching in Dallas seems very unlikely. If he’s clashing with the 49ers front office because he wants more power, how is he supposed to coexist with Jones? Would Jones really sit back, give Harbaugh control over personnel and allow him to receive all the credit if the Cowboys have success? Doubtful.
No one would be surprised if Harbaugh quickly turned the Cowboys into a contender. It’s getting Jones to allow Harbaugh to have control that’s unrealistic.
