Trucks leave for Oxnard to get ready for Cowboys training camp
Two weeks from today the Cowboys will conduct their first practice of training camp.
The move West is already underway.
The first wave of trucks to make the 1,488-mile trek from Valley Ranch to Oxnard, Calif. hit the road Thursday. They should arrive Friday afternoon. Club employees will then begin the set-up process with the first order of business being the weight room. Two more trucks are scheduled to leave next Thursday.
Either six or seven trucks will be required to haul all of the equipment needed for this year’s camp.
The team is scheduled to fly to California on July 22. Physicals and conditioning tests will be conducted the next day with the first practice slated for July 24.
