Cowboys sign tight end Dallas Walker
The Cowboys have added a player to fill Kyle Orton’s roster spot, but it’s not a quarterback.
According to the club’s website, the team has signed tight end Dallas Walker, who had a stint with the Chargers last season.
The 26-year-old Walker spent the bulk of his collegiate career at Western Michigan, catching 16 passes for 102 yards and four TDs in 32 games (2009-2011).
The Cowboys have five tight ends: Jason Witten, Gavin Escobar, James Hanna, Jordan Najvar and Walker.
Tony Romo, Brandon Weeden and Dustin Vaughan are the club’s three quarterbacks.
