Cowboys’ Tentative Dates For Training Camp + Preseason dates and times

The start of Cowboys training camp in Oxnard, California, is still roughly a month away, but the Cowboys’ dates for their stay on the west coast are available.

The team arrives in Oxnard for camp on Tuesday, July 22, and will make for its usual base of the city’s Marriott Residence Inn. The Cowboys begin practicing Thursday, July 24, and are currently scheduled for 17 practice days during their time in California.

Times and dates are subject to change, but the team’s current plan is to practice at 4 p.m. PT during most of their stay in Oxnard. There are 5:15 p.m. PT practices scheduled for Monday, Aug. 4, and Sunday, Aug. 10. The Cowboys’ usual Blue/White Scrimmage will be held Sunday, Aug. 3, at 3:30 p.m. PT.

The Cowboys will break camp Friday, Aug. 15, for a flight back to Dallas for their second game of the preseason, against the Baltimore Ravens at AT&T Stadium.

The Cowboys will host a pair of joint practices for a portion of their training camp dates. The Raiders will be in Oxnard for a 4 p.m. practice on Aug. 12 and a 9 a.m. practice on Aug. 13 before the Cowboys return to Dallas. Those times are Pacific.
