1. Christian Ponder, QB, Minnesota Vikings (86.1 percent):

Ponder has been inconsistent from a fantasy football perspective, but he's well worth a look during the bye weeks when the matchup is favorable. That's the situation in Week 6, as he goes up against a Washington Redskins defense that has allowed an average of 20-plus fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. Brace Hemmelgarn/US Presswire

2. Jahvid Best, RB, Detroit Lions (82.0 percent):

Reports suggest that Best (concussions) could return to action in Week 7 against the Chicago Bears, so he's well worth grabbing off the waiver wire now and stashing on your roster. Mikel Leshoure and Kevin Smith haven't put a stranglehold on the top spot on the depth chart, so Best could emerge into a nice option. Andrew Weber/US Presswire

3. William Powell, RB, Arizona Cardinals (99.9 percent)

The Cardinals have lost Beanie Wells and Ryan Williams, so Powell is next in line for carries. He isn't going to put up huge numbers, and La'Rod Stephens-Howling (99.8 percent) might be the better option in PPR and return yardage leagues. 4. James Jones, WR, Green Bay Packers (70.5 percent):

Jones, who was listed in this space last week, found the end zone twice against the Indianapolis Colts and has scored four touchdowns in his last two games. Both Jones and Randall Cobb (76.2 percent), who had 14.20 fantasy points in the contest, are worth roster spots until Greg Jennings (groin) is back at 100 percent. AJ Mast/Associated Press

5. Alex Green, RB, Green Bay Packers (99.7 percent):

Cedric Benson was forced out of Week 5's loss to the Colts with an injured foot, opening the door for Green to see more work. He responded with 55 rushing yards on nine carries, though much of his yardage came on just one run. Still, Green will be well worth a look off the waiver wire if Benson's ailment costs him time. 6. Kevin Kolb, QB, Arizona Cardinals (89.2 percent):

Why pick up Kolb after he was awful in Week 5? Hear me out. If you have a quarterback on a bye or you like to play the matchups, Kolb is a pretty attractive option this week against the Buffalo Bills. Just one quarterback (Brandon Weeden) has failed to score more than 18 fantasy points in a game against this atrocious defense. G. Newman Lowrance/Associated Press

7. Kyle Rudolph, TE, Minnesota Vikings (65.8 percent):

Rudolph has been listed in this space several times, but he's still a free agent in tons of NFL.com leagues. That's hard to figure, as he has scored at least one touchdown in three of his last four games. Rudolph also has a nice matchup in Week 6, facing a Redskins defense that was just destroyed by Tony Gonzalez. Charlie Neibergall/Associated Press

8. Heath Miller, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers (55.3 percent):

Miller posted a poor stat line in Week 5, catching four passes for 41 yards while failing to score a touchdown for the first time in four games. However, fantasy owners shouldn't be so quick to abandon him based on this week's matchup against the Tennessee Titans. No team has allowed more fantasy points to tight ends. 9. Andrew Hawkins, WR, Cincinnati Bengals (77.3 percent):

Hawkins has slowed down in the stat sheets in recent weeks, but he's still a bye-week option against the Cleveland Browns. Their defense has allowed an average of 30-plus fantasy points per game to wideouts, and CB Joe Haden will be back and covering A.J. Green. That could mean more targets for Hawkins in Week 6. 10. Brandon Gibson, WR, St. Louis Rams (98.3 percent):

Someone has to catch passes in St. Louis while Danny Amendola (clavicle) is out of action, right? And while he is by no means a must-add wideout, I think Gibson is the best of an unimpressive core of receivers. He is second behind Amendola in catches, yards, tied in touchdown receptions and has deep-league fantasy appeal. G. Newman Lowrance/Associated Press
