O.T.I.S. - The NFC East will RISE again

At one point in time the NFC East dominated, sheer domination. We can look at the seasons 1990, 1991 ,1992 and 1993 where the New York Giants, Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys won the Super Bowl respectivly in consecutive seasons. The Philadelphia Eagles are the ONLY team in the division to have not won a Super Bowl. So the teams in the NFC East (Giants, Cowboys and Redskins) having a total of 12 super bowl trophies and the NFC East collectively having gone to the Super Bowl 20 times what division is more dominate? Cowboys (5-3), Redskins (3-2) and Giants (4-1) Eagles 2 (0-2)

 

 

The AFC North 7 super bowl wins, AFC East 6 super bowl wins. The NFC North 5 super bowl wins. Now with those numbers (and number don't lie) stated what is the best division in football...

The NFC East. Just because recent history has showed us that New York Giants have won a super bowl most recently it does not mean that this division is not great. A division is made up of a least 4 football franchises and the ALL collectively decide on if the division is great, just because the Pittsburgh Steelers won 2 super bowls within the last ten year doesn't make the AFC north great. If you don't believe me go to Ohio and ask a Bengals or Browns fans how great things are.

So the NFC is a great division has been and always will be. We are the only division that can put 3 teams in the playoffs consistantly (1 clinches the division and the other 2 takes the wild card). So when people ask what division is best tell them. The NFC East will rise again, the Giants are off of a Super Bowl run, the Eagles have reloaded and even tho there record doesn't dictate it they are a scary team, the Redskins have reloaded and the future looks promising (and I hate saying that) but our Dallas Cowboys have the pieces a Number 1 ranked defense YPG as of 9/29/2012. All thanks to Rob Ryan and if we run the ball consistently and allow Romo to take his shoots (on true passing downs) there is no limit to what we can do.
